{"id":3607,"date":"2020-07-16T09:48:41","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T16:48:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hobart-community-church.org\/?p=3607"},"modified":"2020-07-16T09:48:45","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T16:48:45","slug":"hobart-herd-devotional-psalms-70","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/hobart-community-church.org\/?p=3607","title":{"rendered":"Hobart Herd Devotional  &#8211; Psalms 70"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Hobart Herd Devotional \u2013 Psalms 70<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; In the hustle and bustle of our world, we\noften find it hard to find adequate time alone with the Lord.&nbsp; I am glad that the Lord hears my cry when I\nneed a quick answer of help and deliverance from Him.&nbsp; I know that it sounds terrible that the Pastor\nfinds it hard spend the time I should with the Lord, but I am a sinner in need\nof God\u2019s forgiveness and grace just like everyone else.&nbsp; I have found some of my most effective\nprayers have been the quick cries for help and rescue to the Lord on the spur\nof the moment.&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; This is an easy Psalm to diagnose and\nunderstand as it has 2 essential parts.&nbsp;\nThe first 3 verses are a cry to the Lord to come quickly.&nbsp; The cry to the Lord to come quickly brings 2\ntruths into play.&nbsp; First of all there is\nan immediate need for rescue and salvation, and secondly there is the\nexcitement and anticipation that God will act quickly on our behalf.&nbsp; I have known times when I waited patiently on\nGod\u2019s timing to reveal His grace and answer to my prayers.&nbsp; I have also known times when God has answered\nalmost before the prayer was out of my mouth.&nbsp;\nGod knows when we are at the crossroads of our troubles and He knows\nwhen to grow us through patience, and when we need to hear from Him NOW!&nbsp; I can trust that the God Who knows all things\ncan answer immediately, or give me strength to hold on.&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; I love verse 3: \u201cMay those who say to me,\n&#8220;Aha!
