No Prepared Bible Study. Prayer Request

Just a quick follow-up.  Judi is doing well after the surgery.  We had a slight scare about an infection in her intestines but that proved to be more cautionary than real.  Thank you for your prayers and next we will have to figure out what kind of treatment course will be followed.

Judi and I are on the road ministering out of town this week, so there will be no Prepared Bible Study.

I thought I might enlist the prayer support of those of you who receive my Bible studies.  Last week, my wife Judi was diagnosed with small tumors in her bladder.  Evidently, all bladder tumors are cancerous and need to be removed but these have been found in at a fairly early stage according to the initial diagnosis.  She will be in the out-patient surgery on Tuesday for a CT scan and a consult, which should determine the next steps.  We rejoice that the initial report was so positive.  However we once again find ourselves on the receiving side of so many people’s thoughts and prayers.  Our spirits have been guarded by God’s grace and we seek to know His plan in this.  Of course, my prayers are for God’s divine intervention as you can well understand, but you also know that not all events of this nature are so quickly dealt with.  Please pray with us that God would show His hand in the next steps and that we would hold strong and true to our testimony of faith in His perfect will.

Thank you for the prayers I know you will bring before our Heavenly Father.  If possible, perhaps we’ll share the throne of grace at the same moments in time.  You might catch me there any time of the day or night.
